& it begins..

Our first date was exactly a week after we met. He took me to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We were both so nervous after texting non-stop all week. Neither one of us could focus on the menu, so we decided to share pizza and fish tacos
[I don't even like fish ;].
We had a little time to kill before I had to work, so we goofed around in the mall a little bit. We [kind of] figured out our sleep numbers, and we were on a mission for a new bag [on bags on bags ;].

That night, A Lily Gray played a show at Burt's Tiki lounge. We stayed up all night sitting Indian-style, talking and just feeling the intense energy between us.
Somebody might have dropped an L word, and Llamageddon began.

& then he texts..

"You are the most unique person I've met since...forever times;)
And you are gorgeous, so there:)"

& then he says..

"This song reminds me of you:) I think you inspired it."

& I'll call you when I'm sober..

Jessi: Are you drunk schmoozing me :P
David: I can be. Let me know when it works:)
Jessi: haha what if it already started to work?
David: Then I'll call you when I'm sober:)What time do you have to be up?

I fall asleep, when I wake up @ 07:17 I text him: " :) NOW :( "
He calls right then and asks me out on a date..

& then he says..

[Asking him how his day is]:
"It's a good interesting:) it's difficult to explain but I feel as though the wormholes of the world are open."

& I'm crushing.

On Sunday [August 29th, 2013]I told Jenny I had a little school girl crush on David, but I'm trying not to let it excite me too much..
By Wednesday I somewhat spilled the beans to him too..

Incase you are confused, we are talking about being crazy.. not bawls ;)

& he is good.

David: As you wish:)
Jessi: That's something Prince Charming says..
David: Ya, I saw it in a movie once.

& this is when the magic happened..

August 24th, 2013 I went with my best friend Jenny to check out her fiance's band play at the Barbary Coast. As soon as they started playing I made her come up closer to listen with me. These guys ROCKED. I took this picture, not knowing that this night would change the course of my life.

I remember noticing the singer was pretty cute, but I assumed he had a girlfriend so I didn't think too much into it. Nate, Jenny and I went back to Jenny's house after the show. Justin talked David into coming over as well. That night we played card games, ordered pizza, and I blew some minds with my magic tricks ;).

 At one point in the night I had spilled a little pizza sauce and was cleaning it off the carpet, when David comes and puts his back pack over the spill.
From that moment on, I knew he was trouble.. 

 

6 AM came so fast, and I insisted leaving so I could make it to Harmon's when they opened.
David threw a pillow at me, wanting me to stay..

I added him on Facebook as soon as I got home, and when I woke I had a message from him asking me if I made it to Harmon's. We have been texting every day since..
