& he is one sexy study buddy..

On the Thursday night before my big HESI test, he insisted on staying in with me and helping me study!!
I put him to use quizzing me after a couple hours. I swear to you this lovable man is the reason I passed my test!

The next morning he got up and made me breakfast while I crammed some more. Gosh, where has he been all my life?

He even cleaned up the kitchen!! I can't ever get enough of him!!

After I passed my test we went out for a little celebration.

It was one of the best days for me. Even my mother said she knew I was going to pass because I am in such a great place in my life.. I blame it on David, he's my good luck charm. <3

& he is way too sweet!

So tonight when I come over to his house, he had moved his car down the road so I could park in his covered stall...

He put KUTK on incase I came while he was in the shower..

Put the fire place on just for V [his cat].

& had gotten some wine for us..

He is way too thoughtful! Seriously he needs to teach boyfriend classes. <3

& have I mentioned he cooks? :)

The other day we were driving around and couldn't decide where to eat..
He tells me he'll make me "Alfredo" at his house, so I turn on a show and he brings me out THIS:

Droooooool. Why do we even eat out?

& this man of mine..

He tells me he looks forward to visiting me at work when he gets off his shift at Stoneground. I definitely delight in his creations he makes me.
He has brought me dinner, or a redbull almost every shift since I've started working nights.
Often time, he'll bring enough I can share with my crew.
This particular Sunday he made us pizza, and even brought me extra pizza sauce.

I revel in him and his immense love he brings out of me.

& on this adventure..

Have you checked out the ice castles in Midway yet?? They are so rad! We went to see them Friday with my mom, Noah, and my mom's friend Madalyn! We stopped to eat at Don Pedro's in Kamas, then bundled up to see the wonders. It was a little chilly while waiting in line, and Madalyn's baby was a little fussy.. David being his sweet self took off his under jacket and draped it over baby Rowan. He's is so precious.

I highly recommend you pay them a visit before they melt away ;).

& he's my hero too..

I'm no relationship pro, but I have learned a few things in my dating history.
A big thing to watch for is how a man treats his family, especially his mother.
How a guy handles his lady is a reflection of the type of bond he has with his mother.
I love the relationship that David has with his Mom, and I love even more the overwhelming love she has for him.

The other day for Tami's [David's mom] birthday, he cleaned out her room and bought her a dresser. She came home from a rough day at work and was so delighted she almost cried. It was so wonderful to see that.
While Tami and I were on the couch, she tells me how David is her hero. She said "my son shouldn't be my hero, but he is", and then continues to tell me: "he'll probably kill me if he knows I told you this, but before 9/11 he was saving up money for a guitar and almost had enough; but after 9/11 happened he gave all that money to the firefighters and their families.".

It's hard not to fall more in love with him the more I come to learn about him.

A while ago Jenny was telling me a story Justin told her...
One day while Justin and David were driving around, David asked Justin to pull over. David got out, took his coat off and gave it to a homeless man & got back in the car.."

How awe-inspiring is that? He definitely is an inspiration to me.
Every time we pass a homeless person, or someone with a sign he never hesitates to pull out his wallet.
I am going to strive to be more David like. I can genuinely say he is my hero too ❣

[Babe, don't kill me for this post.. You really are incredible, so just accept it. ;]

& our first road trip

On New Years Morning, Glen, my mom, Noah, David and I jumped in the club MDX heading for Denver! Things were going smoothly until we hit the Vail area, not only did we hit skiing traffic, we hit a huge snow storm and were delayed 4 HOURS!!

When we finally got to downtown Denver, Dave and I went out to find some fun, since it was our only night in the big city! :) We were walking distance from 16th street mall in LoDo. Our first stop was Coyote Ugly, and as we were walking in this interesting man bought us our first round..

We had a blast for a little bit and then we ventured down 16th street until something caught our fancy..
We decided to walk into Appaloosa Grill where we enjoyed a sweet live band and some other local brews.

We only stayed for a couple since we were completely pooped from the NYE, and the long drive.

Then next morning we had some amazing breakfast at Sam's #3, one of my families favorite place to eat in Denver.

[isn't he stunning?]

After breakfast we headed out on another mini road trip to our family's good-friend's house in the middle of beautiful nowhere [aka Conifer]. On the way up, David, Noah and I had downloaded "Evil Apples" (a lot like cards against humanity but iPhone edition) and were dying laughing on the way up.. One of the best moments in the car is when my poor little innocent brother asks my mom: "Mom, whats a pink?"

The views at their house were amaaaaazing!! We stocked up on local brews we've never had, and my mom bought us some Jameson since it was on sale. [LOL]

Our first night with them, Chrystal had cooked us a scrumptious dinner and after we played mexican train from double 12, all the way to double zero!!

We only traveled into a little city once the rest of the trip [One World Cafe for some AMAZING brunch and bloodies.]

The rest of the trip was a wonderful relaxing weekend with some breathtaking views, brews and my favorite people.
